Modular, All-weather, Hike to Bike to Slope

Limited Edition Snow:Cycle Capsule

We’re done with endless product dumps and hyper-specialized gear, and few categories are worse offenders than ski and snowboard wear. Aside from those lucky few who spend the entire season on the slopes, most of us wear our gear just a few weeks each year.

Wouldn’t it be great if those high-performance features that keep you warm on the slopes did not come at the expense of versatility?

Introducing the first modular, all-weather limited edition Snow:Cycle Capsule featuring a Shell jacket and matching Bib pants.

Read on to learn more or shop the Shell and Bib.

One capsule. INFINITE activities.
Our Most Modular Gear

Designing for versatility requires considering all eventualities. Watch this video to see Hanna ter Meulen, our co-founder and head of product, talk through the key design features and read on to learn how these garments transform to take you from the slopes to your bike to your next hike.

Be a Part of the Solution

We aim to reduce our environmental impact and avoid waste by making only what our customers want and nothing more.

We will only produce this capsule when we receive enough orders to ensure no materials will go to waste. Incredibly, industry overproduction runs at 30 to 40% each season, with more than 80% of discarded clothing headed for landfill or incineration.

Although we would someday like to offer the entire capsule made to measure as well, we’re starting small with inseam lengths only.

Place your order now.

How It Works
1
Place your order

Place your order as you would any other garment on our site. We take full payment up front, and we will email you to find out what you would like to have as an inseam length.

2
Tell your friends

Get your friends on board! We only start production once we hit our minimum order quantity of 50 (of each item in the capsule), so tell your friends about it!

3
Production

If we have enough orders by 28 February, we will email you to confirm, and you can no longer cancel your order. We’ll keep you updated on our progress, and you'll see how the sausage is made.

4
Shipping

Once the garments are ready (estimated January 2024), we’ll ask you to confirm your address. We’ll then ship your garment,  and you’ll be the proud owner of this limited edition capsule!

Pricing
Members Always Pay Less

You can buy each item separately or as a capsule for 699 (members) or 1799 (non-members), saving you 99 [all numbers $/€/£].

Don't wait too long as we only have enough fabric for 100 kits! Shop the capsule here.

Design process
Combining versatility with high performance requires working with the best.

That’s why we collaborated with the wizards of elite high performance snow gear, Jonathan & Fletcher.

Founded in 1984, Jonathan & Fletcher are one of the most prominent textiles research, development and design studios in the world.
Based in Annecy-le-Vieux, France, this family business designs gear for Olympic and other professional snow sport teams.
Our co-founder and Head of Product, Hanna, on the design process:
versatility

"When creating this capsule we wanted to show the extreme proof points of the death of SKU proliferation by creating a jacket and pant that could work in all weathers and all circumstances from bike to hike to slope to backcountry. Proving that modular design allows you to do more with less."

modularity

"Modularity led the design thinking behind all the features in this capsule. The removable panel for fit, the adjustable and removable hood to fit as many situations and helmets. The zip off bib pant that also allow you to go in nature without exposing yourself."

jonathan & fletcher

"Jonathan & Fletcher were the perfect partners to develop this with, I was like a kid in a candy shop! With their extensive knowledge, archive and back catalogue of creating Olympic gear, they instinctively knew what we wanted to create and pulled out all the stops to do so. Being in Annecy also helps, we did great hikes and ate amazing food."
