Imagery repurposed from Guy Debord’s collaboration with Danish artist Asger Jorn published in Mémoires. "Play without restraints" (“jouir sans entraves”) encapsulates the Situationist movement’s ethos of liberation, creativity and spontaneity. It emphasizes the importance of reclaiming agency and pursuing authentic experiences not dictated by external norms or expectations. It encourages playful and subversive acts of resistance, challenging the status quo and imagining alternative ways of living and relating to the world.

"Play without restraints" reflects the Situationist belief in the potential for everyday life to become a site of radical social change in the construction of a more liberated and fulfilling society.

Profits from this capsule will be gifted to artists advancing the situationist project. Designed by Aika Cherdabayeva with Art Direction from Stefan Kjartansson.
