Thirsty Thirsty is an ancestral remembrance project disguised as the coolest food and wine club on Earth. By celebrating ancestral agricultural lineages, ThirstyThirsty (TT) regenerates the planet and our interconnectedness— deliciously.

Founded in 2013 as a side project for longtime food and natural wine professional Bruxa at O Vins d’Anges in Lyon, France, TT initially set out to help friends explore wine through storytelling and their intuition. It joyfully morphed from smaller gatherings in France to pop-up wine bars, large guided tasting events, corporate education, consulting, and, eventually, a wine club.

Then, in the wake of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd’s murders and the deflation of the hospitality industry, Bruxa responded to the burnout so many of us were feeling at the time by working with a traditional indigenous elder in the Sequoia National Forest. Ever since, she’s rooted her work in intersectional environmentalism, uplifting indigenous peoples and ancestral wisdom. 

TT’s work remembers the resiliency and generosity of Mother Earth through food and wine to help us reimagine an abundant future. They work with top natural winemakers, restaurants, chefs, bakers, and cheesefolk worldwide, and they learn from and recenter Indigenous leaders in Amazonas. 

For them, “ancestral ag” means including organic, biodynamic, and regenerative farming while championing oral, cross-cultural, and ancient techniques.
